TODAY’S VERSES FROM THE QUR’AN

11 Mar

With The Name of The One True *G-D, The Merciful Benefactor, The Merciful Redeemer

Whatever it be wherein you differ (in knowledge), the decision thereof is with G-D.

Such is The One True G-D, my Guardian-Lord: In HIM I trust, and to HIM I turn.

(HE is) the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth: HE has given you mates of your own kind just as (HE has willed that) among the animals (there be) mates – by this means does HE multiply you: there is nothing whatever like unto HIM, and HE is the ONE that hears and sees (all things).

To HIM belong the keys of the Heavens and the Earth: HE enlarges and restricts, the Blessings to whom HE will: for HE has full knowledge of everything.

The same religion has HE ordained for you as that which HE enjoined on Noah – the which **WE have sent by Inspiration to you- and that which WE enjoined on Abraham, Moses, and Jesus:

Namely, that you should remain steadfast in religion, and make no divisions therein: to those who worship other things (wealth, power, lust, sons and daughters of gods etc.) besides The One True G-D, hard is the (way) to which you calls them.

G-D draws unto Himself those who are willing, and guides unto Himself everyone who turn (to HIM).

And (as for the followers of earlier Revelations) they became divided only after Knowledge reached them,- through selfish envy as between themselves.

Had it not been for a Decree that had already gone forth from your Guardian-Lord, (postponing all decisions) until a Term appointed (by HIM), the matter would have been settled (immediately) between them:

But truly those who have inherited the Revelation after them are in suspicious (quiet) doubt concerning what is within it.

Now then, for that (reason), call (them to the Faith), and stand steadfast as you are commanded, nor follow you their vain desires; but say: “I believe in the Revelation which G-D has sent down; and I am commanded to judge fairly between you.

The One True G-D is our Lord-Creator and your Lord-Creator:

For us (is the responsibility for) our deeds, and for you; for your deeds.

There is no contention between us and you. G-D will bring us together, and to HIM is (our) Final Goal.

And as for those who would (still) argue about (the existence) of The One True G-D, after HE has been accepted (by the majority of humanity),- futile is their dispute in the Sight of their Lord-Creator: on them will be a Penalty terrible.

It is G-D (Himself) WHO has sent down this Revelation setting forth the Truth and (thus given mankind) a balance (wherewith to weigh right and wrong conduct).

And for all you know, the Final Hour (Judgment Day) may well be close at hand?

Those who do not believe in it (Judgment Day), mockingly ask for its’ speedy arrival.

Whereas those with True Faith hold it in awe, and know that it is the Truth.

Behold, verily those that dispute concerning the Hour (of Judgment) are far astray.

G-D is Most Kind to HIS servants: HE gives Blessings to whom HE pleases: for HE (Alone) is Powerful and All Mighty.

(Verses from the ***Holy Qur’an)

*G-D instead of god which spelt backwards is dog. This is not a respectful spelling of a term to be used in reference to the Lord-Creator of the Heavens and Earth.

**WE, US, OUR are references in the Holy Qur’an to all of the forces of power (Angels) under the control of The Creator. They manage all creation. They are totally obedient to The All-Mighty G-D, and obeys HIS Commands without question.

***The verses of the Holy Qur’an were revealed to Muhammed the son of Abdullah in Arabia in the 7th century.

It was revealed to him over a 23 years time period.

The Revealed Verses came from G-D’s Angel Gabriel.

Muhammed just like the majority of Arabs at that time; could neither read nor write.

The Revealed Verses were pressed into his heart and mind by Gabriel. Muhammed then recited the verses to his followers and the majority of them memorised it.

Shortly after Muhammed passed away from this Earth; the Revealed Verses were compiled in the form of a book by his son-in-law Uthman.

Uthman was the third leader of the Muslim community after Muhammed had passed away.

After the Qur’an was completed in the form of a book; Uthman gathered hundreds of the Muslims who had heard and memorised the Revealed Verses as given by Muhammed.

The complete Qur’an was recited to them; and they were asked if the verses were exactly in the same sequence and order as they had heard Prophet Muhammed recite it.

Everyone of them agreed.

Many non Muslims may not be aware that the order of the Qur’anic verses are not as they were Revealed to Muhammed.

For instance the First and Last Revealed verses of the Qur’an are in the middle of the Qur’an.

Not at the beginning and nor at the end of the Qur’an.

In fact many of the early Revelations given to Muhammed, are actually at the end of the Qur’an.

Muhammed recited it in the order, as he was instructed to, by the Angel Gabriel.
