THE GATHERING AFTER DEATH

8 Nov

With The Name of The One True *G-D, The Merciful Benefactor, The Merciful Redeemer

(And The Lord-Creator will say to the Angels) “Assembly all those who were bent on evildoing and sin along with their mates, and the things that they worshipped-

“Besides The One True G-D, and lead them to the Way to the (Fierce) Fire!

“But stop them, for they must be asked:

“‘What is the matter with you that you help not each other?'”

No, but on that Day they shall willingly (individually) submit (to G-D);

But (since it will be too late), they will turn upon one another, demanding of each other (to relieve them of the burden of their past sins).

They will say: “It was you (the rich and powerful), who used to (deceptively) influence us from your position of power and authority!”

They will reply: “No, you yourselves had no Faith!

“Nor had we any authority over you. No, it was you who were a people in ignorant and stubborn rebellion (against G-D’s Truth)!

“So now has been proved true, against us, the Word of our Lord-Creator that we shall indeed (have to) taste (the punishment for our sins).

“We led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray.”

Truly, that Day, they will (all) share in the Punishment.

Verily that is how **WE shall deal with those lost in sinful deeds.

For, when they were told that there is no deity except The One True G-D, they would puff themselves up with Pride,

And proclaim: “What! shall we give up our gods ( this included their fabricated sons and daughters of gods) for the sake of a mad fortune teller?”

No! He (the Prophet) has come with the Truth, and he confirms the truth of (what the earlier of G-D’s) Message-Bearers (taught) before him.

You shall indeed taste of the Grievous Penalty;-

But it will be no more than the retribution for (the Evil) that you have brought about;-

But the sincere (and devoted) Servants of The One True G-D,-

For them are Provisions determined,

Fruits (Delights); and they (shall enjoy) honour and dignity,

In Gardens of intense Happiness,

Facing each other (in love and friendship) on Thrones (of Happiness):

Round will be passed to them a Cup from a clear-flowing fountain,

Crystal-white, of a taste delicious to those who drink (thereof),

Free from headiness; nor will they suffer intoxication from it.

And besides them will be modest mates, restraining their glances, with big eyes (of wonder and beauty).

As if they were (delicate) eggs closely guarded.

Then they will converse and ask each other (about their past lives).

One of them will start the talk and say: “I had a close companion (during my lifetime),

“Who used to say, ‘what! are you among those who really believe that it is True that,-

“‘After we die and become mere dust and bones, shall we really receive rewards and punishments (in judgment)?'”

(A voice) said: “Would you like to look (and see him)?”

He then looked down and saw him in the midst of the Blazing Fire.

He said: “By G-D!.You were very near to bringing me to (spiritual) destruction!

“Had it not been for the Grace and Mercy of my Guardian-Lord, I should certainly have been among those sent (there)!

“Is it (the case, my companions in Paradise) that we shall not die, (again)

“After our previous death, and that we shall never (again) be made to suffer?”

Verily this is the supreme achievement!

For the like of this let all work hard, for those who wish to work (in G-D’s Way).

Is that the better (Paradise ) or the (hellish) Tree of Zaqqum?

For WE have truly made it (as) a trial for the wrong-doers.

For it is a tree that grows in the very heart of the Hell-Fire:

The shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of devils:

Truly they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith.

Then on top of that they will be given (to drink) a (vile) mixture made of boiling water.

Then shall their return be to the (Blazing) Fire.

Truly they found their forefathers (clearly) on the wrong Path;

So now they (also) are following in their footsteps!

And truly before them, many of the people of the past centuries went astray;-

But WE had sent to them, (Messengers) to warn them;-

Then see what was the end of those who were warned (but paid no attention),-

Except the sincere (and devoted) Servants of The One True G-D.

(Verses from the Holy ***Qur’an)

*G-D instead of god which spelt backwards is dog. This is not a respectful spelling of a term to be used in reference to the Lord-Creator of the Heavens and Earth.

**WE, US, OUR is a reference in the Qur’an to all of the forces of power (Angels) under the control of The Creator. They manage all creation. They are totally obedient to The All-Mighty G-D, and obeys HIS Commands without question.

*** The Qur’an was revealed to Muhammed Ibn (the son of) Abdullah in the 7th century.

He received this revelation over a 23 years time period from the Angel Gabriel.

Muhammed was just like the majority of Arabs at that time, he could neither read nor write.

The Revelation was given to him by the Angel Gabriel and implanted in his memory.

Muhammed, then recited it to his fellow Arabs.

The Prophet is referred to in many verses in the Qur’an as being unlettered.

An unlettered Prophet sent to an unlettered people.

The majority of his followers, who heard the recitation of the Qur’anic verses, from Muhammed; in turn memorised what they had heard.

After Muhammed death his son-in-law Uthman; who was the third leader of the growing Muslim community, after Muhammed’s passing; had these memorised verses of the Qur’an compiled into a book form.

He gathered a majority of those who had heard the recitation from the Prophet Muhammed and had memorised it, to testify to the authenticity of what had been compiled into the book.

They all verified that it was exactly the same as they had heard the Prophet recite it.

The Prophet is referred to in many verses in the Qur’an as being unlettered.

What Does ‘Allahu Akbar’ really means?

(ARTICLE FROM CNN)

The phrase “Allahu Akbar,” which means “God is greater” in Arabic, should be known as a celebration of life, not death and destruction, says Imam Omar Suleiman

Omar Suleiman

Imam Omar Suleiman is the founder and president of the Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research and an adjunct professor of Islamic Studies at Southern Methodist University. The opinions expressed in this commentary are his own.

(CNN) I’ll never forget the day a US army veteran who had fought in Iraq embraced Islam at my former mosque in New Orleans.

He arrived in his full uniform, and was overcome with emotion when he heard the congregation shout “Allahu Akbar” after he uttered the Islamic declaration of faith.

The army veteran never thought that the words that had terrified him in Iraq would be the very same that would welcome him to his new faith.

They are words that he now uses in prayer.

Contrary to what many people seem to think, the words “Allahu Akbar” simply mean “God is greater.”

It is a powerful declaration used by Muslims on many occasions and in many prayers.

It is a celebration of life, the first words fathers whisper in the ears of their newborns.

They are used to indicate gratitude when God bestows something upon you that you would have been incapable of attaining were it not for divine benevolence.

It is a prayerful phrase that reminds us that, no matter what our concerns may be, God is greater than them.

Worshipers at a mosque in Quebec reportedly heard the phrase “Allahu Akhbar,” the very phrase they recite in morning prayers, uttered by their white supremacist attacker just before he opened fire and killed six Muslims this January.

And Muslims at a mosque in Minnesota were reciting “Allahu Akbar” during their morning prayers when their mosque was firebombed this August.

Is “Allahu Akbar” sometimes used as a battle cry?

Yes, though as Sen. John McCain has argued on Fox News, that does not make the phrase itself abhorrent.

While noting that “moderate Muslims” also say “Allahu Akbar,” McCain said the phrase is no more troubling that a Christian saying “Thank God.”

But the way “Allahu Akbar” often appears in the media seems to serve a nefarious agenda: to instill fear of anyone who utters the phrase and to raise concerns even about Islam itself.

But a lone terrorist who shouts “Allahu Akbar” while murdering innocent people in the streets of New York does not get to own that term.

Nor do those who declare that no further details are needed to determine motive once a man with a Muslim-sounding name perpetrates an attack using those words.

As Hassan Shibly, executive director of CAIR-Florida, said in response to the recent terror attack in New York, “That is the biggest act of heresy to shout God’s glorious name when committing the worst crime against God.”

Though these words that are used to celebrate life also sometimes accompany horrific acts, this is not a new phenomenon.

Of the greatest ironies noted by the companions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), was the birth and death of Abdullah Ibn Az Zubayr.

Abdullah Ibn Az Zubayr was the first child born in the Muslim community after they had migrated to Medina from Mecca to escape persecution.

Some residents of Medina told Muslims that they had placed a spell on them that would prevent them from having children.

When Abdullah was born, his grandfather Abu Bakr carried him through the streets as the crowd happily chanted “Allahu Akbar.”

(Many years later), when Abdullah was murdered by another group of Muslims as he stood for justice in Mecca, his murderers also chanted “Allahu Akbar.”

As one witness said, “I was there the day Abdullah was born, and I am here the day he has died, and I heard those who said Allahu Akbar the day he was born and I heard those who have said Allahu Akbar the day he has died, and I swear by Allah those who said Allahu Akbar the day when he was born were far greater than those who have said Allahu Akbar today!”

While those who killed Abdullah used the same words as those who celebrated his birth, only one group truly honored the greatness of God.

They are the ones who get to own the term: those who live in a way that celebrates the greatness of God by obeying his commands and serving his creation, not those who flout those commands and attack his creation unjustly.

We mustn’t allow terrorists or agendas of fear to own any of the words, concepts, or devotions found in the sacred text of a quarter of the world’s population. That would give them exactly what they want. And God is far greater than the ugliness committed in His name. “Allahu Akbar…”
